Every year from April to July, Rwanda commemorates the genocide perpetrated against the Tutsis in 1994. Many people experience post genocide traumatic problems.
To address this problem, CPR has organised trainings in basic counselling in order to build capacity for pastors and women leaders in the church so that they can care for members in their local churches and surrounding communities who go through trauma and disgrace during the mourning period, and also in normal life.
The training took place respectively on 19-20 June 2014 for Pastors at the Scripture Union Centre, and on 22-23 July 2014 for women at the Anglican Center/Biryogo, Kigali.
